「感覚気象ステーション」
様々な感情により、私たちの体温は上下する。展覧会オープニングの前の週、プロジェクト組織「マイクロクライメイト・ラボ」は、ふれあいの里を訪れた人々にインタビューを行い、自らの人生において、体温に著しい変化のあった特別な瞬間をいくつか挙げてもらった。私たちは、そうした瞬間の記憶に見合う場所をこの地に探し出し、そこで彼らをビデオに収めた。「感覚気象ステーション」は、古来の気象計をヒントに制作され、明治時代の木製の荷車の上に取り付けられている。来場者の方々には、ぜひ「感覚気象ステーション」設置サイトにて、このインタビューをご覧いただきたい。 ミクストメディア2.2m x 3.5m x 1m
"Sensometer Climate Station"
Different emotions cause our temperatures to go up or down. During the week prior to the opening of the exhibition, the project organization, Laboratory for Microclimates, interviewed visitors in Fureaino-Sato park and asked them to recount special moments in their lives when they experienced a significant change in their body temperature. We videotaped them at a space in the
park that matched up to their memory of that moment. The construction of the Sensometer Climate Station was inspired by a traditional weather station and mounted on a Meiji era, wooden luggage carrier. Visitors to the art exhibition are invited to watch the interviews at the Sensometer Climate Station installation site.
